About Bob Cook

Robert “Bob” Cook is Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning at Colliers-International where he helps users of real estate understand their real estate needs and craft financial and strategic plans to satisfy those needs.

Previously, Bob has held strategic planning positions within the corporate real estate departments of Northrop Grumman, Cisco, Sun Microsystems, Apollo Group (owner of University of Phoenix) and JDSU.  Earlier in his career, he was a real estate developer of office high-rises in Chicago with Rubloff Inc. and worked as an architect and urban planner with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and the City of Chicago’s Department of Planning and Development.  In addition, he has been a Senior Fellow at the National University of Singapore where he taught real estate development and advised international companies on their Asian expansions.

Bob holds both a Masters of Management (Finance) from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Masters of Architecture in Urban Design from Rice University. He also has a California Real Estate Broker License and has held an Illinois Architect License. He has been on the faculty of CorenetGlobal where he has taught both Performance Management and Disposition Strategies, has written articles for professional journals, and is the author of “Leasing Office Space You Can Afford” (McGraw-Hill).
